We are a diverse group sharing skills in a variety of stitchery genre.

Break O'Day Stitchers create community quilts which are donated to charities in times of need.

Click through the gallery to see some of the community quilts that have been created by the group through quilt challenges and by individual members.

Friendship Day

In 2021 our Friendship Day challenge was titled For The Love of Red. Members and friends were able to create a block or stitchery or design that celebrated all things red. Each entry could be no bigger than 1m x 1m. Take a look at the many interpretations our members came up with.

In 2019 our Friendship Day challenge was to make a fifteen and half inch block with the theme "Black and White with a touch of Bright". The blocks were then put together by various members and quilted. Also during the year individuals and groups put together quilts to donate to Medea Park residents and Anglicare. These quilts were distributed last year and this year 2021 we will be able to continue the tradition.
